Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an appointment?
Yes! We are appointment-based to ensure every client receives personalized, uninterrupted care. You can conveniently book online at any time.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Please arrive with clean skin whenever possible and avoid heavy makeup before facial treatments. For waxing services, allow your hair to grow to approximately ¼ inch (about the length of a grain of rice) for the best results.
What if I'm running late?
If you're running late, please let us know as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you, but arriving late may require shortening your service to avoid delaying the next appointment.
What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Is waxing painful?
Everyone's pain tolerance is different, but most clients describe waxing as a quick, temporary discomfort. Regular waxing appointments often become more comfortable over time as hair grows back finer.
How long should my hair be before a wax?
For the best results, hair should be about ¼ inch long. This allows the wax to grip the hair properly for a cleaner removal.
Can I get waxed while taking acne medications?
Some prescription acne medications (such as Accutane or Retin-A products) can make your skin more sensitive. Please let us know about any medications you're taking before your appointment so we can recommend the safest treatment.
What should I avoid after waxing?
For the first 24 hours, avoid:
-
Hot tubs or saunas
-
Heavy exercise
-
Direct sun exposure or tanning
-
Tight clothing on the treated area
-
Swimming pools
-
Highly fragranced lotions or exfoliation
How often should I get a facial?
Most clients benefit from a facial every 4–6 weeks, which aligns with the skin's natural renewal cycle. We can recommend a schedule based on your skin goals.
Which facial is right for me?
If you're unsure, don't worry! We'll perform a skin consultation before your treatment and recommend the facial that's best suited for your skin type and concerns.
Can I wear makeup after a facial?
It's best to allow your skin to breathe for at least 12–24 hours after your facial for optimal results.
Are your treatments safe for sensitive skin?
Absolutely! We customize every treatment based on your skin type, sensitivity level, and skincare goals.
Do you offer consultations?
Yes! We offer consultations to discuss your skin concerns, create a personalized treatment plan, and recommend professional home care products if needed.
Can I receive treatments if I'm pregnant?
Many treatments are pregnancy-safe, while others may need to be modified. Please let us know if you're pregnant so we can customize your service appropriately.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, cash, and other electronic payment methods where available.
Do you sell professional skincare products?
Yes! We carry professional skincare products to help you maintain your results between appointments. We'll only recommend products that fit your skin's specific needs.
How long will my appointment take?
Appointment times vary depending on the service. Most treatments range from 30 to 90 minutes. Your booking confirmation will include your estimated appointment length.
Can I combine multiple services?
Absolutely! Many clients combine facials, waxing, brow services, and other treatments during one visit. We'll help you build the perfect appointment.
What if I have allergies or medical conditions?
Please let us know about any allergies, medications, skin conditions, or medical concerns before your treatment. This allows us to customize your service safely.
How do I maintain my results at home?
Following a consistent skincare routine, staying hydrated, wearing SPF daily, and using professional products recommended by your esthetician will help extend your treatment results.
